Job Description


As a Security Officer - Government Dispatch in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related communications and activities, helping to deter incidents and support daily operations. Your role involves maintaining a strong presence, conducting routine checks, and providing excellent customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate response activities as needed.
  • Receive and document calls for service, incidents, or emergencies occurring at the location, maintaining clear and accurate records.
  • Relay information and instructions to on-site teams and/or emergency services in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the management of incident reports and logs, ensuring all relevant details are captured for follow-up.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff, visitors, and/or the public.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by facilitating communication between various parties during routine operations and critical situations.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of ongoing situations and reporting suspicious behavior or circumstances.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related communications and emergency protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
