As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol - Education Site in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at this distinguished educational location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, prioritizing the well-being of individuals on the premises.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry points and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or other security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with staff, students, and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal policies and client site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related issues and maintain a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
