As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Roseville, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for shoppers and tenants. Your high visibility will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication reflects Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you support the location's security-related needs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
