You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Carry and maintain assigned firearm responsibly in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities and support law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings within an aerospace and defense environment, adapting to varying working conditions as required by the site.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.
  • CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
