As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities within a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to coordinate security-related activities within the commercial real estate location.
  • Dispatch security personnel to incidents and/or requests for assistance as needed, maintaining clear and accurate communication at all times.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of calls, incidents, and dispatch activities in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting tenants, visitors, and staff with security-related concerns and information requests.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities by relaying information and coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders.
  • Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points through surveillance systems and/or communication channels.
  • Communicate important information and updates to security staff and management as necessary, helping to maintain awareness of ongoing activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
