As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious activities or persons to help to deter potential incidents.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the location.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to daily activities and incidents as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
  • Must have a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
