What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in a timely manner to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional presence and support a positive experience for all individuals on site.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials as required and helping to manage visitor and contractor entry.
• Document incidents and complete required reports accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
