As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and granting or denying access based on established protocols.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures for fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other critical incidents within the healthcare location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
• Provide assistance to staff, patients, and visitors as needed, addressing questions, concerns, and requests for information in a courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
