What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and/or vendors as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the facility and surrounding areas.
• Provide customer service by greeting individuals entering the location and responding to inquiries or requests for assistance in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
• Follow all site-specific procedures and guidelines, adapting to the unique requirements of the food and beverage production environment.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including alerting appropriate personnel and assisting with evacuation or lockdown procedures if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
