As a Security Officer - Full-Time Education Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, interacting with visitors and staff, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe for irregularities, report incidents, and document findings as required by the post orders.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding occupants and communicating with Allied Universal management.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
