As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities, supporting both staff and visitors through clear communication and prompt response to incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and manage incoming calls, alarms, and radio communications to coordinate security-related responses within the healthcare facility.
  • Dispatch Allied Universal personnel to incidents and requests for assistance, following site-specific protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of incidents, communications, and dispatched activities throughout the shift.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, staff, and patients with information and support related to security-related matters.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, prioritizing responses according to established guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external contacts to relay information and coordinate responses.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established procedures for the healthcare location.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with on-site personnel and tracking their activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
