What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed during critical situations.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related threats or risks specific to a technology, media, and telecom environment.
  • Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
