As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a strong and reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or potential threats within the location, reporting observations to Allied Universal management and site leadership as required.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and/or any security-related activities observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
