What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Monitor access points and verify the identification of individuals entering or exiting the location, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with local authorities or emergency services when required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports, maintaining accurate records for the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing information and assistance as necessary.
  • Support Allied Universal in maintaining a secure environment by adhering to all company and client policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
