As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Rounds in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and first responders as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
• Remain alert to potential hazards specific to chemical or petrochemical locations and report concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
