As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Specialist in Plainfield, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with site-specific procedures and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with location-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
