As a Security Guard - Unarmed Facility Patrol in Columbus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control processes by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols for Allied Universal and client reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
