As a Security Officer – Armed Mall Response in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to changing conditions within the retail or mall environment.
• Perform additional security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
