In this primarily unarmed, patrol-focused role, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine vehicle patrols and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues, with working conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity within the utilities environment, reporting findings according to established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Applicants with customer service experience are preferred.
• Applicants with CPR or First Aid certification are preferred.
• Applicants with access control or badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
