As a Security Officer - Access Control - Full Time in Waddell, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and interact with employees and visitors to provide exceptional customer service. By leveraging technology and strong communication skills, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment while embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures while providing customer service to those entering or exiting the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and/or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
