As a Security Officer – Luxury Shopping Center in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and exceptional customer service. You will interact with visitors and tenants, respond to situations as they arise, and maintain open communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious behavior.
• Assist with crowd control and provide directions or assistance to visitors as needed within the retail or mall environment.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
• Remain alert to surroundings and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
