What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual circumstances during patrols and while on post.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or security-related issues.
  • Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support emergency response procedures and assist first responders as needed during incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
