Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Perform access control duties by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas within the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Verify credentials and identification of personnel, visitors, and contractors according to site-specific protocols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions regarding site policies and procedures.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns within the chemical or petrochemical environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
