As a Security Officer - Distribution Dock Screener in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.
• Apply site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the location management.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or vendors with inquiries and directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report all security-related observations, incidents, and activities according to company and client guidelines.
• Collaborate with other security professionals and location personnel to maintain a secure environment.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and communicate any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
