As a Security Officer – Armed Retail Patrols in Pflugerville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as needed, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft and other unwanted behaviors within the retail environment.
• Interact with law enforcement or emergency personnel as required, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Complete thorough and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
• Carry and maintain control of authorized firearms and/or other security-related equipment as required by post assignment and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles only.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
