As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. This role involves both armed responsibilities and driving duties as you monitor assigned areas, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, guests, and/or the public at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise at the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor access points and control entry and/or exit to restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or site personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate potential security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• CPR and first aid are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
