Job Description


As a Security Officer - Aerospace Site Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at an aviation and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your presence and communication skills will contribute to a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities within the aerospace and defense environment.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting findings as required.
  • Assist with implementing site-specific security-related protocols and procedures relevant to the aerospace and defense location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
