What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter theft, loss, and/or other security-related incidents.
• Document and report security-related incidents or suspicious activity according to company and site-specific procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, supporting the overall security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
