As a Security Officer - Tech Sector Patrol in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor access points, report suspicious behavior, and communicate with site management as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and/or site personnel to address security-related concerns specific to the tech and media environment.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions within the location, adapting patrol routes and activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
