As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence will support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate company or client vehicles as you conduct your patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or unusual activity, to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital position.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
