As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, observing for any security-related concerns specific to a healthcare location.
• Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with security-related questions and support as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as necessary during incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
