As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Control in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. This is an armed and/or driving position. You will be highly visible, communicate clearly with team members, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and manage security-related communications and dispatch activities for the site, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for the location.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and access control procedures.
  • Document and report all incidents, activities, and irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
  • Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required for the location.
  • Assist in the implementation of emergency response activities, including communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow site-specific protocols and Allied Universal procedures to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain order at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
