Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Command in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. This armed and driving post involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and direct incoming and outgoing personnel and vehicles at the location, following established access control procedures.
  • Operate communication systems to coordinate with on-site teams and relay critical information as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, activating emergency protocols when appropriate.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and communications accurately and promptly in site logs and reports.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required, providing support and information as directed.
  • Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries and site access protocols.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related threats or hazards and report observations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR or first aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
