Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Center Driver in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment for critical operations, working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to coordinate security-related activities throughout the location.
  • Dispatch security personnel to various areas within the location as incidents and/or requests arise.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications and incidents for accountability and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel to provide customer service and address security-related inquiries or concerns.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures related to security operations.
  • Support emergency response efforts by coordinating with internal and external resources as needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible and attentive presence through communication and dispatch operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton certifications are preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
