Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Command Center in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in the aerospace and defense sector, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities to help to deter incidents and maintain order at the location. This armed, driving role involves routine patrols, visible presence, and prompt response to calls, all while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch center to support security-related operations for the location.
  • Coordinate response activities and provide guidance to security personnel during incidents, emergencies, and/or critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of incidents, communications, and activities as required by site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following established security-related procedures and protocols.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with on-site security teams, management, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Respond to alarms, calls for service, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Support Allied Universal in upholding site-specific policies and requirements for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
