As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the government facility.
• Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or security-related matters according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, supporting incident response and resolution.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing environments and conditions based on the needs of the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
