What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations as needed in a healthcare setting.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Interact professionally with patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hospital: Vaccines are required for this position.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
