As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an approachable presence. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the operations of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observing individuals and/or vehicles entering the premises, and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Remain alert to potential hazards specific to a chemical and petrochemical environment, reporting any concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
