As a Elite Security Officer - Armed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter, maintaining awareness of surroundings.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior within the retail environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or vendors, providing information or assistance as appropriate.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or unusual conditions and report these to the appropriate parties.
• Participate in emergency response activities as directed, following all site-specific and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of Armed security-related experience. 
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a Level III armed security license for Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
