What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for the residential community.
  • Verify identification of residents, guests, and vendors to support access control protocols at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and observations clearly and accurately in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, or military experience is required.
  • At least one year of law enforcement experience or two years of security supervisor or manager experience or three years of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
