Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed written reports.
  • Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while on duty.
  • Participate in ongoing training to maintain required certifications and stay updated on security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
