As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at manufacturing, industrial, and government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors by providing information and direction as appropriate for the location.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents or emergency response situations.
  • Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols, especially as they relate to manufacturing, industrial, and government environments.
  • Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in compliance with company and legal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
