As a Security Guard - Tech Patrol Full-Time Weekdays in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and engage with people on-site, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the financial institution environment.
• Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or security-related concerns according to established protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
