What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or conditions and promptly report observations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points to restricted areas within the location.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including evacuation procedures and coordination with first responders, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
