What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address various scenarios.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the assigned area.
  • Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during shifts as required by Allied Universal and the site.
  • Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms and/or other equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
  • Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions and needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
  • Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
