As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at an educational location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the education environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance needs according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with school staff and local authorities as directed to address security-related situations and/or emergencies.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing patrols throughout the educational facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
