What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and managing visitor entry in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Assist in carrying out security-related procedures and protocols tailored to the needs of a technology and media-focused location.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries, offering directions, and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a security-related presence.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual activity according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment within the technology, media, and telecom location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
