As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in SALISBURY , MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to food and beverage production environments.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with security-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or security-related breaches according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordination with local authorities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
