As a Security Officer - Media Patrol in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a dynamic tech location, you will patrol assigned areas and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help maintain a secure environment for everyone. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors, providing assistance as needed and reporting any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and/or maintenance issues according to site requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
