As a Security Professional - Armed Retail Patrol in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a leading retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while carrying out patrol duties at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual observations according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with site management and Allied Universal.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide assistance to customers and staff as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level III Armed Certification (Texas Only) is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
